Direct Debit Notice
Please pay FT Business Debits from the account detailed in this instruction subject to the safeguards assured by the Direct Debit Guarantee. I understand that this instruction may remain with FT Business GROUP and, if so, details will be passed electronically to my Bank/Building Society.
Direct Debits can now be set up on-line or over the telephone in addition to the original postal method. All the normal Direct Debit safeguards and guarantees apply. No changes in the amount, date or frequency to be debited can be made without notifying you at least 10 working days in advance of your account being debited. In the event of any error, you are entitled to an immediate refund from your bank or building society. You have the right to cancel a Direct Debit Instruction at any time simply by writing to your bank or building society, with a copy to us.
In order to set up your Direct Debit Instruction on-line you will need to provide the information requested through the setting up procedure (your cheque book contains all the bank details that you require). If you are not the account holder or you wish to pay through a business account that requires more than one person to authorise debits, please call the subscriptions department on 0845 456 1516, or email us at email@example.com and we will send you a paper form for completion.
As a prevention against fraud we require you to supply us with your credit card security code.
How does this help?
Each Credit card has its own individual code printed on it, this code is not stored within the cards magnatic strip, this means it doesnt appear on any receipts or billing statements. This is done as a security measure to ensure the person making the order is infact the card holder.
On a American Express Credit card the 4-digit security code is positioned on the front of the card, just above and to the right of the main credit card number.
On a Visa/Mastercard the security code is a 3-digit number which can be located on the back of the credit card within the signature strip.
